The AMJ Management Research Canvas and Family Business Research

Date:

October 28, 2025

Speakers:

Davide Ravasi

This webinar will introduce the AMJ Management Research Canvas (Dorobantu, Gruber, Ravasi, & Wellman, 2024) – a tool to support the design of research projects and the writing of papers targeting top journals in management and organization. It is designed to be applicable to both micro and macro, quantitative and qualitative research, and to be useful both the outset of a project and at paper writing stage. We will briefly discuss the content of this framework, with a focus on specific issues that characterize family business research.
Dorobantu, S., Gruber, M., Ravasi, D., Wellman, N. (2024) The AMJ management research canvas: A tool for conducting and reporting empirical research, Academy of Management Journal
