Alfredo De Massis is Professor of Entrepreneurship & Family Business at Università degli Studi "G. d'Annunzio" Chieti-Pescara and Director of the Centre for Family Business Management at the Free University of Bolzano (Italy). He co-directs family business research projects at Lancaster University Management School (UK). Alfredo has been ranked as the world's number one scholar in the field of family business, according to a scientific study published in 2024. Stanford University has ranked him among the top 1% of scientists in the broader field of business and management.
He serves as Associate Editor of FBR and on the Editorial Boards of ET&P, SEJ and JFBS. His research has been published widely in leading academic and professional journals including AMJ, SMJ, JBV, JMS, ETP, JPIM, AMP, FBR, GSJ, JBE, CMR.
