Salvatore Sciascia is Full Professor of Family Business and Strategic Management at Cattaneo University – LIUC (Italy), where he chairs FABULA, the Family Business Lab. He is also Affiliated Professor at CeFEO, the Centre for Family Entrepreneurship and Ownership of the Jonkoping Business School (Sweden) and Contract Professor of Family Business Finance at the Lucerne University of Applied Sciences (Switzerland).
He is Co-Editor of the Journal of Management & Governance and currently sits in the editorial board of Entrepreneurship Theory & Practice, Family Business Review, Journal of Family Business Strategy, and Piccola Impresa/Small Business. His research was published not only in the above-mentioned journals but also in Strategic Entrepreneurship Journal, Journal of Product Innovation Management, Journal of World Business, Journal of Business Ethics, Small Business Economics, Journal of Small Business Management, Entrepreneurship & Regional Development, Journal of Business Research and European Management Review.
He was awarded by several academic associations (IFERA, AoM, EURAM, EIASM), journals (FBR, JFBS, SEJ, ET&P, JWB, familybusiness.org) and Universities (Texas State University, LIUC and IULM).
